Duration – 1 hour
In this short course, we will explore mental health, wellbeing and psychological resilience within the production industry and its relationship to health and safety. Your production could involves stories or content that could be distressing or challenging. You may have tough deadlines, and budgets or face a relentless demand to achieve results. These can all take a psychological toll. Psychological risks can impact your work, yourself, colleagues, contributors, audiences or the public and must be considered as part of your risk assessment.
We’ll explore the term ‘psychological resilience’ and what this means and look at the types of stress and the associated impact of these. We’ll examine a case study and see what you have learnt in practice. Finally we’ll signpost you to extra support should you even need to access additional support and resources on this matter.
