Duration – 2-3 hours
This course covers the fundamentals of personal safety and security when travelling and/or on assignment.
Lessons include how to protect the safety of colleagues, sources, contributors and equipment, cultural awareness and gender-specific issues, plus essential techniques for avoiding crime, intimidation and incarceration.
You will also learn about threats from authoritarian governments, regimes and criminal gangs, and how to respond to and protect against cyber threats and surveillance.
